Did you know that there is a Vegan Network?
That’s how I learned about brilliant, charismatic Vegan Publisher and Book Consultant Mitali Deypurkaystha. In April I received an email from Vegan Publicist and Business consultant Katrina Fox encouraging me to learn more about Mitali and her bestselling book aimed at Vegan and ethical experts, influencers and entrepreneurs who want to write a book: The Freedom Master Plan: Put Your Mission, Movement and Message on the Map
Mitali is based in the UK and is a marvelous and inspiring speaker with encouragement and advice for anyone who has ever dreamed of writing a book.
One thing I really related to was that Mitali has worked with all sorts of people to create their books, but when she decided to champion and amplify the work of other Vegans, her business started to really reflect her beliefs and energy. This absolutely resonates with me as a Life Coach. My work isn’t ONLY for Vegans, but when I present coaching through a Vegan lens I know that I am magnifying the conversation I want to be part of.
The “Vegan Network” isn’t some kind of fringe or subgroup – it’s an exciting and growing category of entrepreneurs, founders, thought leaders, activists, food and travel professionals, artists, journalists, designers and yes, podcasters among many many others.
Did you know that there is a category of sustainable and ethical website creation?
That’s just ONE brand new thing I learned from Mitali on this week’s interview.
If you’ve got a book kicking around in the back of your brain, sign up for Mitali’s email list and get her book.
FROM THE FREEDOM MASTER PLAN
According to the US Bureau of Labor, 20% of small businesses fail in the first year and 50% by five years.
These statistics are replicated in nearly all Western countries.
The reasons given for these failure rates are:
- Little or no selling skills 2. Little or no lead generation or marketing skills
I found that most vegan and ethical entrepreneurs start a business because they’re passionate about
making a difference in the world. So they strike out on their own and build a business around their skills.
What they don’t expect is the need to learn a whole other skill set: sales, marketing, and lead generation.
In addition vegan and ethical businesses have the extra strain of making ethical choices that are unfairly more expensive, adding to further pressure.
I resolved to use my skills and expertise to help as many vegan and ethical business owners, experts,
influencers and entrepreneurs as possible boost their visibility, authority, sales and profits by becoming published authors.
