Your brain is NOT designed to go Vegan.
It’s designed for SURVIVAL.
That’s why it will ALWAYS focus on:
- What can go wrong?
- What might be hard?
- What others will think?
Avoiding the unknown is why we have anxiety about changing our diet, purchases and lifestyle.
If you’ve got doubts about going Vegan, you’re normal.
If you’re Vegan and you’ve got doubts about your NEXT big goal, you’re normal.
Your brain is just doing its job. It isn’t super interested in positive new thoughts, because negative habitual thoughts work automatically and do not require conscious effort.
Your brain evolved to look for the easiest, most pleasurable choices and to avoid the painful ones. So if you’ve struggled with limiting and eliminating the consumption of animals, there’s nothing wrong with you.
