December 13 – is Santa Lucia day – the longest night of the year in the Northern hemisphere according to the old calendar – the winter solstice. 1 in 5 Swedes under 30 identifies as Vegan or Vegetarian and 50 percent of Swedes overall report the they are more interested in eating Vegan now than even a year ago! We may not think of Sweden is a an innovative Plant Based market but we would be wrong!
