Excuse Me

It’s officially Summer and guess what?

There are people who told me last winter that it’s impossible to eat Vegan or Plant-based until all the fresh produce shows up in the summer…

AND there are people right NOW, telling me that Vegan and Plant-based choices are impossible with the kids home, travel, barbecues, and wedding season…
If you’re already Vegan, maybe you have been saying it about writing your book, starting your fitness goals, or taking your business to the next level.
Don’t feel bad – we ALL do it.

I speak with women all the time who are making the same sort of meaning about their age or their season of life.

“I can make that change when the kids are out of diapers…
in school full-time…
in college…
Out of the house…”

Now I have grandchildren visiting and I can find myself using THAT as an excuse, too.

Excuses aren’t bad, they are part of how our brains function.
In fact, they usually show us right where the solution to the problem is hiding.

Every single age and season of life has its challenges, differing circumstances, and shifting priorities.
That is why I think moving towards a Vegan Practice is the most powerful change any woman can make in her life.
It requires becoming conscious of your choices on a daily basis in a culture that really wants you to give up and forget about it.

Create a Vegan Practice in your life and you will see that it opens up everything in your life.
Ready to let your excuses show you the way to a richer, fuller more connected life?

Quote I’m pondering from a client:

“People don’t like to see others pursuing their dreams. It reminds them how far from living their own dreams they are. In talking you out of your dreams, they are talking themselves back into their own comfort zone. They will give you every rational lie they ever gave themselves.”
